My goddaughter Faith
I ask you all to please take a moment to pray for my godchild Faith. She is currently in the hospital for the next several days. She has been losing weight the last couple weeks (she`s 10 and thin to start with) and the doctors have confirmed that she has type 1 diabetes. It sounds as if everything is under control, but please do keep them in your prayers. Thanks.

I have 2 nieces with type 1 diabetes. Pray for Faith's parents as well as it is a life long commitment and constant worry keeping these kids safe. Hopefully there is good education for the family where they live.

ReplyDeleteThank you Ben. Faith is doing fine, she went to school today and has a great attitude. She is giving herself shots and just trying to be really positive about this. We view this as a true blessing, for it will make all of us stronger and it has already done so much for Faith's confidence. Thank you for your prayers, Faith has always been sweet - now we just have a diagnoses that confirms what we already knew, that she is too sweet!
